dallas via instagram

Back in September I got to go to Dallas with just Nora.  It was a total splurge, but I am so happy I did it.  My good friend Maria from UD was getting married and it also seemed like the perfect opportunity to go see my best friend, Bess, and her new little baby, Ingrid.  We already have plans for Nora and Ingrid to be the best of friends so we figured they should meet.   I didn't want to haul around my big camera and forgot my smaller one, so I just had my camera phone.  So here is my trip via Instagram.  I supposed it is redundant for those who follow me there, but I do this for my own sake so I don't care.
These two girls so obviously loved each other.  They couldn't stop holding hands.  The cutest.
Bess and I ran into our friend Kathleen on campus and had some laughs (because she makes everyone laugh).  Then we all got iced mocha's in the Capp Bar together like old times.
Then I took Nora to the Margaret Jonsson Theatre to show her my legacy- the stage door sign.
Then the wedding was at the Chapel of the Incarnation on the UD Campus.
It was a lovely ceremony and a great party.  The Bride and Groom were adorable and looked so happy.
It was great to see so many old friends and all their kiddos.
One good friend was unable to make it because she was about to have a baby, so we made sure she wasn't forgotten.

We were also excited that Erin and Gene made the effort to drive up and see us.
Erin was so excited to get some Nora time and I was excited to meet their new dog, Pippa.
We got to hang out at my friend Desarae's house and see all her chickens.
And right before we left, we got to stop for dinner with Nora's godfather, Erik.
I was so glad he got to meet her while she is just a little baby. Now he will have a better idea about who he is keeping in his prayers.
Then we were sad to say goodbye.  Hopefully, we will be back to visit again before these girls are too big!
