For our vacation this year we headed east for a week so we could see Zach's mom and catch up with our college friends. We divided our time, and this post is just going to be dedicated to our time in DC. First off, Jimmy was very excited to fly an an airplane to see Nana. I told him about it the day before and he literally did a little dance of joy and talked about it until he was actually there. When we were actually there, he was very excited to see Nana as well as his Aunts Natalie, Cathy, and Michelle. Needless to say, he got lots of attention. Nana's house was also a big hit in itself since it had stairs and lots of new toys. 
We went to the National Zoo, and even though it was very hot and humid, we all had a good time.
We also spent a day at a really great park with Zach's cousin Rachel and her two little ones Harrison and Hudson. Harrison and Jimmy had tons of fun and didn't really want to leave until we promised them food.
