color game

I have been a slacker on home school preschool, but Jimmy is already has most of the skills he should for age 4 so I don't feel so bad.  We do little art projects and he writes in his workbooks, but it is never very organized.  He has known is colors for ages, but we had a color day just for fun. Here is the activity I came up with:
Red:
Blue:
Brown:
Green:
Yellow:
Orange:
Pink and Purple:
Grey:
It was fun to do, but not so fun to clean up.

  1. That is such a good idea Mary! I'll definitely be copycatting.

  2. That is so cool! I'm super impressed. Did Jimmy pick Gus's outfit just for this project, or was it just coincidence?

  3. What a great idea! At my house, we would have much bigger piles of pink and purple!!

  4. Gus' outfit was in fact a coincidence, but we had to force him to stay near the red stuff. Fortunately he loves the bike and rocking chair since they are both rather dangerous. And it was in fact quite a struggle to find pink and purple stuff Justina. Hence, they are in the same picture. I didn't even have a blanket in either color to give them a good background.

  6. It is kind of fun to have such colorful furniture and it came in very handy for this game, but the battle of the orange chair rages on.
