easter 2015

On Easter morning we woke up to baskets filled by the bunny and a message about the true meaning of the day.
When it was time to find the eggs in our yard the boys each had to help Nora find one before they could fend for themselves...
Nora loved it this year.  She had some help from Dad, but she found some of the trickiest ones...
Our Playmobil Jesus was out of his tomb and our hill was covered in beautiful white flowers.
Oddly enough Jimmy got a mystery Playmobil in his basket that turned out to be a Roman soldier.  We thought it was appropriate to add him to our little scene...
Then we did our candy sorting...
...and eating...
... and definitely some sneaking....
After a wonderful Easter Mass, Baabee and the McMahons came over for brunch.
Good thing I have good helpers in the kitchen...
Then we just played in the yard and enjoyed a few new toys and treats...
The boys made a bike track out of all their new cones and various other cups and toys.
Even Mimi got in on the fun...
It was a beautiful day and makes me appreciate spring weather in Phoenix so very much.
However, not nearly as much as I appreciate getting to share this day with people we love so much.
Praised be to God!

  1. That last picture of dad with all three kids is wonderful. You need to print a coy of that one for sure.
