waikiki aquarium and beach

Our first full day on Oahu we headed to Waikiki to go to the aquarium and get to the beach as soon as possible.

Mostly he identified the fish by telling me which Finding Nemo character they looked like...

"I shall call him Squishy, and he shall be mine, and he shall be my Squishy."

Jimmy like the Aquarium for awhile, but he was too anxious to get to the beach. Fortunately, you can see the beach from the Aquarium so we didn't have to walk far. We did have to avoid a crazy naked man on the beach however, and take a detour through the park. We only got in the water for a little while, but it was enough to make Jimbo happy.
While Jimmy remained slightly afraid of the waves for the entire trip, he did love the water....

He just usually didn't want anyone to let go of him.
