Gus really wanted a football themed birthday originally, but I am pretty sure the theme was more weapons...
The cake stayed true to the football theme and he was very proud of it. He also chose his favorite dinner or the second year in a row: Steak (cooked by BAABEe), Peas, and Mac'n'Cheese.
Mimi and Johnny brought a ninja costume which meant... yes, more weapons...
Nano sent a pogo stick which everyone had fun trying. It will probably get used as a weapon at some point though...
We also had a joint party for Jimmy and Gus as a laser tag place with some of both of their friends. Originally, it was really more for Jimmy as a special 10 year old party, but since we had enough room for 10 kids, Gus got to invite two of his buddies as well.
The boys all had a blast because boys think shooting stuff is awesome.
The Woods cousins actually gave them their own set of laser tag so now they can play at home, too.
There has been a lot of that going on...
Gus may love weapons the most in our house, but he is also one of the sweetest and most sensitive boys, too. We love him so much and love celebrating his amazing life. Happy 7th Birthday Augustine William!
