homeschool preschool: letters H thru M

As previously explained, a friend and I have been doing a weekly homeschool preschool for Gus and a friend.
It follows a letter a week.  Here are a few of the saints we have made:
H was for St. Helen and hands...
We were going to glue these pumpkin seeds onto the hands to make trees, but they were too yummy so we ate them all instead...
I was for St. Ignatius and Ice Cream
We also made some fun ice cubes...
J was for St. John Bosco and Jesus...
K was for St. Kateri and the Three Kings...
L was for St. Lucy and Lights...
They loved singing "This Little Light of Mine" with the candles lit...
Thanks to the strange seasons of Phoenix, it also ended up being for leaves as well...
And Gus wouldn't let us forget that it is also for Legos...
M was for St. Michael and Monstrance...
As usual Nora wants to be a student every time, too.  We have started letting her make her own TP roll saints because she insists...
More letters still to come.

  1. That’s quite an innovative way to teach kids. My nephew is also going to a Phoenix pre-k and my cousin always remain worried as he is not picking up things but I think it’s a nice way to teach him as might be he learns this way quickly.
