We drove to San Diego in early July to visit Aunt Angie and get a nice beach vacation.
There are always interesting things to see along the way...
We headed straight for the beach on Coronado...
Angie came and met us and with her help we got to stay our first night at the Navy Lodge right on the beach...
We got to enjoy the pool there, too...
Then we spent the rest of the time at the beach...
We took a break from the beach one day to go to the USS Midway Museum.
Everyone thought it was super cool getting to see what it is like on a Navy ship and get to ride in lots of airplanes...
We went to mass downtown at the Cathedral which was very beautiful.
We love visiting different churches on all our trips...
Angie and the boys got to go on a little kayaking trip on the Marine base on our last morning...
The little girls and Mom just hung out at a fun park...
Then it was back to Coronado because it is hard to find a better beach!
Gus covered himself in sand and said he was an old man...
Nora just couldn't stop dancing and singing the whole time...
We had so much fun with our wonderful Aunt Angie who takes such good care of us.
Another great vacation for this wonderful family!
