It has now become a tradition now for Nora to find all her presents on the morning of her birthday Frozen Fever Style (ie: following a string). Her brothers have so much fun hiding the presents and getting it all ready for her. They couldn't wait to wake her up. They handed her this balloon attached to some yarn and let her go...
First present was in the bathroom cupboard...
An Alice in Wonderland doll...
In the piano bench was Judy Garland movies and paper dolls...
In the TV room, a new swimsuit...
Then the string led her around to a few unnecessary places...
And finally to the porch where she found a Minnie Mouse bike...
This year Nora really wanted a princess tea party with her friends so that is what she got.
Mom really wanted to keep it simple, but then we decided to make this very elaborate castle cake because I am we are crazy...
Good thing I had so many helpers because Nora was very excited about it...
It also worked out that there was a princess storytime with Belle at the public library on the morning of Nora's birthday. Some of her friends met us there all dressed in princess garb.
We got some pictures with Belle...
Nora was pretty thrilled...
Then they had some cute Beauty and the Beast themed crafts...
Then back to our house for a tea party...
The brothers acted as the cook and waiter...
Nora got to invite three special friends and, of course, her baby sister was allowed to join...
Little Snow White needed a nap though so we gave her an apple to put her to sleep...
After lunch it was time for treats..
We decided to save the big cake for Nora's evening celebration so each girl got a Rapunzel tower cake cone and a scoop of ice cream to put in it.
Then we had a fashion show starring Moana, Aurora, Sophia, and Belle...
Nora changed into a Rapunzel costume for awhile and then by the evening when Baabee, Mimi, and Johnny came over she changed into Ariel which she had just gotten from one of her friends...
Moana was very popular this year!
Then it was finally time for that huge cake...
Nora also insisted that Francie try on this dress as well, but she wasn't so sure about it...
Nora was so thrilled with the whole day. It will be a hard one to live up to in years to come.
Happy Fourth Birthday Sweet Nora Bean!!
